My mom called the other night to let me know the news that Aunt Maggie had passed. It left me with a heavy heart knowing that the last of Grandma’s siblings had gone. I know they are all above now watching over all of their kids, grandkids & great grandkids… Rest in peace Aunt Maggie.

Peace be with you Paula, Linda, Kathy, Deana & Ralph.

Maggie was my grandmother. I did not get to see her very often because of where I live. I wish I could have spent more time with her. The times I did get to see or talk with her, she was always in a cheerful mood and would give you anything you asked for, if she had it. Some years ago, she sent all of the granddaughters her recipes for candy and such. I don’t have many reminders of her, but I will cherish them and continue to make them as I have since she sent them to me. I am sorry that I can’t be there. I really would like to be. I am also sorry that my children will never know her! They have really missed out on a really cool grandma! She was the sweetest! Although I am not there in person, my prayers and thoughts are with those that can be. She will be missed! I love you grandma!
