Cheers On offer this exquisite set of vintage English bone china by Aynsley, in the stunning 18th century Pembroke pattern of exotic birds and flowers in raised enamels enhanced with the finest gilding. The cup, saucer and tea plate are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The trio bears the Aynsley Fine Bone China, Made in England mark and the pattern name Pembroke with details of the pattern. The cup measures approx 2 ¾ inches tall by 3 ½ inches in diameter, the saucer measures approx 5 ½ inches in diameter and the plates is 6 ½ inches. A beautiful set of vintage discontinued Aynsley china - a valuable addition to the finest quality table setting. . Royal Doulton china pieces quickly became known throughout the world for their distinctive design and quality. The company officially became Royal Doulton in 1901, when Sir Henry Doulton was granted use of the word "Royal" by King Edward VII. The company's three key brands are Royal Doulton, Royal Albert and Minton. The three brands are now part of the Waterford Wedgwood group. Heinrich's son, Christoph, established a new Schumann porcelain factory in 1881, It was located in the town center beside the market square. Schumann porcelain was also located beside the railroad tracks that forced the closure of his father's factory a few years earlier..That factory was later inherited by his son and it became Carl Schumann Porcelain. The new Schumann porcelain factory began manufacturing its own porcelain blanks. In 1932, Christoph's son, Carl, took over the running of the porcelain factory. At a later date, of which no record seems to exists, the Carl Schumann porcelain factory was transferred into a limited company.
