FG-401 made in Taiwan. 20 frets. Laminated spruce top. No on-board electronics. It is heard that the sides and neck are either nato or mahogany. It has a thick transparent gloss finish, which has begun to fade a very little on part of the side from pressing the guitar against a bench or any wood object wile putting your ear directly to the guitar body sides. The body is a large dreadnought. The tuners are open.

The sound is very pleasing and can be heard even if you are standing right near the railroad track playing while the train is coming by. It happens a lot hear in Memphis. home close to the Jack Daniels Whisky distillery, Nashville Grand Old Opera, Casey Jones, this Mississippi River, Peppered Southern Gravy, Buttered Bisects, Grits, Blues, and birth place to rock and roll with the history of the king's Cotton Elvis Martin Luther BB King, Barbecues, King Cotton country, Down Town Hotel tourist of the slave market and the good old southern hospitality.

I love playing the Yamaha Grand Piano and swapping back and forth on the songs with my own Yamaha FG-401 guitar. I only stop to start over again.

Increasing the sound with its own natural echoing this very pleasing sound I would closely match to putting a set of headphones to one ear while plugged into an amplifier and can be heard even if you are standing right neat to the train tracks playing while a train is coming by. By the way this happens a lot to me these days hear in Memphis TN the cotton country, the body is a large dreadnought. The tuners are open. I’m pleased with its condition

I am hear from a 26 year stay in Anchorage Alaska there I put most of my efforts in the piano and oil paintings, some I have shared with the Veterans Creative Arts Program. I left Alaska to go to Chicago IL. Grays Lakes North Chicago, Natoma Ave at the request of my military Stepfather to burry my Stepmother. I stayed on there and assisted my farther with his health while there we visited a music store right around my birthday he wouldn’t leave the store till I said ok to a purchase of a guitar he purchased a $8,000.00 Taylor signature Acoustic guitar and a book of Paul McCartney, West Montgomery five different Blues harmonicas and hard body case. I spent some times 8am-7pm in the back yard at the whicker yard furniture practicing my ballads. This kept up for aprox three years in that lovely North Chicago community.
