St Paul's Eucharist focuses on India's Dalits

The exhibition gives an insight into the lives of Indian Dalits, formerly called “untouchables", and demonstrates how centuries of oppression have impacted the community.

The intimate portraits also explore how although “untouchability” was abolished by India’s Constitution, it continues to be practised today.

Being Untouchable is being displayed by St Paul’s Cathedral until 6 July.

The meditative Eucharist at St Paul's Cathedral this Sunday is focusing on the theme of untouchability and the Dalit community in India. The Eucharist, at 6pm, is the second in a series of three on the theme of untouchability.

I didn't see the picture when I first read your post and the link didn't work. I can see it now and I'm not sure what you're seeing as autistic. As being an untouchable is based on the caste one is born into(one is not placed there after birth because of behavior), I assumed you meant an eyes averted, submissive look. But I'm curious, what are you seeing as autistic?
